Drabble: Everything You Ever (Arthur/Eames, one-sided Arthur/Robert)
“Do you think he remembers us?” Arthur asks before going back to planting small kisses down Eames’s chest.
“I doubt it, love,” Eames replies, closing his eyes. “You know how difficult it is to remember dreams and even with the training he got…”
“You are right,” Arthur whispers against Eames’s skin and tells himself that it’s enough. Eames should be enough and Arthur shouldn’t want anyone else.
Eames’s face is impenetrable when he opens his mouth next and says, “You know I could always pretend to be him?”
Arthur isn’t even surprised Eames knows. He is, however, surprised that he’s even considering this offer. He should have said no immediately, but it’s so endlessly tempting to be able to kiss those full lips and moan “Robert” into that mouth…
“Why would you want to do this?” Arthur finally asks, defeated.
“Because love is about getting someone everything he ever wanted, isn’t it, darling?”

Beautiful Dreamer, that scene in movies/TV where someone watches another person sleep and you can just tell that their innards are twisting and turning at how adorable the person looks. “Unguarded” and “innocent”. With this pairing, well, Arthur does stay behind on the second level. :>
